Commercial Terms and Conditions of Planet of the Sites

  • Planet of the Sites reserves the right to alter the delivery times stated in the quotes and standard packages published on our website if clients DO NOT send all the necessary and crucial information for the correct conduct of the website development work. Information means texts, spreadsheets, photos or images, videos, files, links, etc., i.e. any and all data that is crucial and necessary for building the digital business environment.
  • CANCELLATION OF PROJECTS: In the event of clients withdrawing from the contracted website(s) and having already paid for them, Planet of the Sites reserves the right to proceed as follows:
  • I. Refund is possible in cases where the wish to cancel the hired development work is informed in writing and by e-mail within 48 (forty-eight) hours from the confirmation of payment for the services contracted, and will be carried out in accordance with the rules below:
    1. .a) Payments made by credit and/or debit card, the Planet of the Sites will follow the return policies and deadlines established by the client’s own card companies and according to the chosen payment method, as Planet of the Sites cannot infer or alter them. In such cases, the return in cash or bank deposit is not possible or permitted, as this would result in the discount of all the various fees charged to Planet of the Sitess by these institutions, which is not advantageous for our clients.
    2. .b) Payments made by wire transfer, in these situations the Planet of the Sites will refund the contracted amount only after the transfer has been effectively cleared and with a minimum grace period of 48 (forty-eight) hours from receipt to be able to refund the amount to customers, noting that in these cases the amount to be refunded will have a discount of the banks’ fees from the total amount due to discounts on administrative fees for issuing and/or receiving the financial resource and which are not refundable.
  • II. If the client chooses to cancel the development of the project after forty-eight (48) hours from the confirmation of the payment for the services hired, but does it before the project reaches the 4th (fourth) working day in the case of Bronze package projects, the 6th (sixth) working day in the case of Silver projects, the 10th (tenth) working day in the case of Gold projects, or until it reaches 50% (fifty percent) of the estimated site completion time in the case of customized projects, Planet of the Sites reserves the right to refund only half (50%) of the amount paid in order to cover the administrative and operational costs already committed to starting and carrying out part of the website development and construction activities. In these cases, the form of reimbursement will be discussed on a case-by-case basis with each client who chooses to cancel, especially in cases paid by credit card where the operators usually take an average of around 30 (thirty) days to make any amount paid available through their financial systems. ATTENTION: Any refund will only be made AFTER Planet of the Sites have received the financial resources associated with the contracted services, i.e. if a customer pays by credit card and requests cancellation after 10 days, the partial refund mentioned here will only be made after the amount paid has been made available by the customer’s credit card operators, before this deadline no refund will be made.
  • III. If the client chooses to cancel the project after the 4th (fourth) working day in the case of Bronze package projects, the 6th (sixth) working day in the case of Silver projects, the 10th (tenth) working day in the case of Gold projects, or until more than 50% (fifty percent) of the site’s estimated completion time has been reached in the case of customized projects, Planet of the Sites reserves the right not to reimburse any amount paid. This is because in such cases a large part of the service has already been carried out, various administrative resources have already been consumed (e.g. electricity, food, office supplies, etc.) and various professionals have already had their time consumed in order to complete the project, which is why it is impossible to reimburse the amount paid.
  • IV. ATTENTION: In cases where it is agreed between the Planet of the Sites and the customer a refund by bank deposit, the bank details should be OBLIGATORY be transferred to the client who paid for the services, i.e. the bank account that will receive the deposit must belong to the same person who made the payment to the client. If third-party bank details are provided, the Planet of the Sites reserves the right NOT TO PROCEED WITH REFUNDS UNTIL A CORRECT ACCOUNT IS PROVIDED TO PROCEED WITH THE REIMBURSE TO CUSTOMER.
